青岛泰光棚膜有限公司隶属于泰光跨国集团，集团经济实力雄厚，旗下有生产世界运动品牌的越南、中国青岛耐克鞋厂，青岛包装公司、棚膜公司，在韩国有产品开发设计厂，宾馆、餐饮业旅游业、高尔夫球场等综合性企业，是拥有5万多名员工的大型跨国集团公司。1996年集团公司在中国青岛莱西市创建了韩国独资的青岛泰光棚膜有限公司，成为国内继聚乙烯（PE）、聚氯乙烯（PVC）农膜之后，生产新一代农膜产品—EVA农膜的企业园。
